Ashwani (aka Dina) is the founder of Southern Fried Psychics®. Her spiritual work dives into being a professional Psychic, Mystic, Medium, Channeler, Light Language Activator, Shamanic Practitioner, Zero To Psychic™ Certified Instructor, Reiki Master Teacher, Ordained Minister, and a 4-time bestselling author. She is also an award-winning director, filmmaker, screenwriter, and photographer for her creative work. Ashwani thrives by empowering others through multimedia resources utilizing her creative gifts as a lifelong storyteller and visual healer partnered with her mystic spiritual abilities. Her creative projects focus on the underrepresented with women, minorities and the LGBTQ+ community. Lack of opportunities for women in entertainment inspired her to create her indie production company, Empowerment Productions 33 (closed in 2026 to focus on mystic work). Her production company showcased powerful female-driven stories to inspire viewers through authentic storytelling, being the face of change in outdated entertainment industry dynamics, and aligning with other creatives for empowering collaborations. Ashwani's collective works are built on a foundation of healing, empowerment of the female voice, and deepening connections. She loves telling the hard stories that need to be told, giving voice to the voiceless, collaborating for representation, positive change and expansion forward. She will always continue her screenwriting, poetry, and publishing works while focusing on mysticism.

The late Dr. Chuck Murphy had over 40 years of Experience in Metaphysics. He was honored to be named 7th Best Male Medium in America for 2017. Fun fact: he was a mentor and friend to Ashwani (Dina Faye) when she was a student in his first psychic development class he ever taught...later to transform into his wildly popular Zero to Psychic™ courses and publications. He held a master’s degree in Metaphysical Science and a Ph.D. in Parapsychology. His goal was always helping others get in touch with and use their natural GOD given psychic abilities and communicate with those around them. Dr. Chuck was the creator of the DFW Paranormal group "Crossings Paranormal Research." Dr. Chuck became the spiritual father-figure to thousands and led our DFW metaphysical community to new heights.

In Memory: Pixie Anne Gilmore
Ashwani's faithful familiar and companion of nearly 17 years
I had to say goodbye to my beloved fur child, Pixie Anne "Pixie Dust" Gilmore on June 25, 2026 after a bad seizure that led to a quality of life call. We chose one another on my Birthday in 2010. Pixie suffered seizures since 2023 and was on prescribed medication. The medicine stopped working and due to other developed complications it was time to bid farewell so she would no longer be in pain. This was an excruciating call to make and I know she is happy in spirit as she communicates with me. Pixie is reunited with her sisters, Trixie, Dixie Mae, and also her mother. Grief is an emotional rollercoaster and it has been a hard adjustment as Pixie went everywhere with me. She was my everything and my entire routine changed. She was a local celebrity as everyone always loved on her and commented on what a good dog she was. She was never a typical dog and hated what most dogs loved like toys and parks. We had immediate connection and communication style. She always understood everything I said and I picked up on her needs easily being a psychic. With her passing, it has opened more opportunities for travel as long distances were too hard on her. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think of her, miss her sweet kisses and cuddles, and yearn for how she always had to be touching me. She was a true gift from the stars that I will cherish until my final days when we shall be reunited. Rest in peace my little bear.
